This painting started off as a demo during a watercolor workshop 1 was giving at the Generation Art & Frame Gallery, in Franklin, Indiana, on Oct 19th & 20th, 2024. We had finishes a step by step demo landscape painting on the first day and had some time left on the second day, so we started this painting as a 10" X15". With the short time left in the class, I was only able to get it blocked in, so I took it to my studio the following week and re-analyzed it and.decided to cut it down to a 9"X12".
